The Full Picture
A 35-acre lake, trails, farm animals, and enough to keep everyone busy for a week. Here's everything waiting for you.
On the Grounds
We've spent 40 years making sure Clearwater has everything you need and nothing that gets in the way. Whether you're here for the lake, the trails, the animals, or just the campfire β it's all here.
The heart of Clearwater. Our spring-fed lake stays clear and cool all season long. Sandy beach access, a dedicated swimming area, and some of the best shoreline fishing in Oakland County.
Explore the lake at your own pace. Canoes and pedal boats are available to rent at the office. No experience needed β just a sense of adventure and a willingness to get a little wet.
Cast from our docks or rent a rowboat and find your own quiet corner of the lake. Catch-and-release fishing keeps our water stocked season after season. The bass are big and the water is patient.
Spacious, wooded sites with 30 & 50 AMP electric service, water, and sewer. Many sites back up to wooded areas for natural privacy. Large enough for big rigs, slide-outs and all.
Two handcrafted log cabins β a cozy smaller option and a roomier family cabin. Built with genuine Amish craftsmanship, they're rustic in all the right ways. No roughing it, but still very much the woods.
15 tent-only sites for the purists. Back to basics, away from hookups and road noise. Perfect for the camper who wants nothing between them and the night sky but canvas.
Winding paths through forested areas and open meadows. The trails connect different parts of the campground and disappear into genuine wilderness. Great for morning walks, evening strolls, and amateur Bigfoot research.
Horses, and other farm animals that make kids' eyes light up and remind adults what matters. Visit the barn area and let the little ones say hello. Part of what makes Clearwater feel less like a campground and more like a place.
A well-maintained dedicated play area that gives kids a place to burn energy and parents a place to sip coffee in peace. Located centrally for easy supervision.
Clean, well-maintained restroom facilities with hot showers throughout the campground. Because the outdoors is better when you can actually clean up after a long day on the lake.
Open 24 hours. Washer and dryer available so a week-long stay doesn't require you to bring a week's worth of clothes. Coins available at the office if you forget.
Stay connected if you need to. WiFi is available throughout the campground. The camp store carries firewood, essentials, ice, and a few things you always forget. Open during office hours.
The Centerpiece
Most campgrounds have a pond. We have 35 acres of crystal-clear, spring-fed water that's been the heart of Clearwater since we opened. Swimming off the sandy beach. Fishing from the dock at sunrise. Drifting across the surface in a canoe. It's the reason people come back year after year.
On Foot
Our trail system winds through wooded areas and open fields, connecting the far corners of the campground. Morning walks with coffee, evening hikes with the dog, and the kind of quiet that only exists when you're actually in the trees. Keep your eyes open β local wildlife (and one other notable figure) are active year-round.
