The Rules of the Wild
We keep it simple. Be kind, be safe, and leave things better than you found them. The rest is in here β and yes, even Bigfoot has to follow along.
Early arrivals are welcome to wait, but your site may not be ready before 2:00 pm. Leaving after 12:00 noon must be approved by the office β additional charges may apply. When in doubt, just call us.
All camping units are parked facing the road. It keeps the campground looking great and makes for easy neighbors. Your two vehicles must stay within your site area β defined as in front of and between your electrical post and the next one, including slideouts.
On weekends and holiday weekends, every guest must check in at the office. Day visitors pay $3.00 per person or $5.00 per car. We do discourage visitors from bringing pets to the campground.
Each site is designed for one camping unit and two vehicles. Extra cars can park in our lot β just let us know. Tents are not allowed on a lot with a camping unit unless management approves it.
After 10pm, we ask everyone to respect their neighbors and keep noise levels down. All minors must be back at their sites during these hours. Some of our best memories happen around a campfire β just keep the volume dialed to "peaceful," not "party."
We allow one outside pet per unit (additional pets require management approval). Any pet outside must be on a leash at all times. Clean up after your pet anywhere on the property. Pets may not be left outside unattended when no one from your party is at the RV.
Pets are not permitted on the beach area at any time. Cabin rentals are also pet-free zones. We love your furry friends β let's just keep the swim area and cabin spaces comfortable for everyone.
We have kids, pets, and good vibes everywhere. Please help protect them all by keeping it to 5 MPH throughout the campground. No exceptions, no excuses. The lake isn't going anywhere.
Golf carts are allowed on the campground, but only licensed drivers may operate them. You must also show proof of insurance before driving. We want fun, not liability claims.
Our lake is beautiful and we want it to stay safe. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. There are no lifeguards on site β swim at your own risk. The beach closes at dusk every evening.
Fishing is welcome from our docks and anywhere on the lake except the swimming area. We ask all anglers to follow catch-and-release practices to keep our lake thriving. Rowboat rentals are available at the office.
Campfires are permitted in fire rings only. Cutting or damaging trees is strictly prohibited. Our trees are living, breathing parts of what makes Clearwater special β and we need to protect them from disease. Firewood is available for purchase at the camp store.
Bringing firewood from outside is discouraged to protect our trees from outside pests and disease. Camp store firewood is available and ready to burn. Pick some up when you check in β it makes the whole evening better anyway.
Trash is not collected from individual sites. Dumpsters are located by the animal barn β easy to find and big enough for everyone. Please do not use the rec hall containers for site trash. Keep your campsite clean and leave it better than you found it.
Fireworks, firearms, and weapons of any type are not permitted in the park. We're here for s'mores and sunsets, not sparks and stress. Leave them at home β the only thing we're shooting here is the breeze.
Our office staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help. If something isn't clear or you need a special exception, don't assume β just pick up the phone.
